Sisal Schumacher wallcoverings are the rougher natural cousin of grasscloth: a corded, fibrous face with more shadow in the weave. They ground a room that has a lot of polished furniture and would look thin with a flat print.

The texture is directional and the color can shift between bolts. Sample the colorway, keep one lot on a wall, and read the width so your seam count is real before you schedule the hang.
